Three Person Holiday Art Show in NoBo- North Boulder Art District

 Ace Self Storage at 4635 Broadway as a part of the North Boulder Art District (NoBo) is hosting an engaging three person art exhibition that runs through the end of December. The trio of talent includes Tom Cannon  (www.tomcannnonart.com), who spent thirteen years in Japan mastering the subtleties of Japanese ceramics. His portion of the show has a variety of functional pottery priced for holiday gift-giving and his unique, Asian-inspired cast bronze vessels. The 2-D component of the show is comprised of  both black and white and color photographs by Steve O' Bryan of Wild Basin Photography (www.wildbasinphotography.com)  and Sarah Mcnaughton's  spiritual themed paintings (sarahmcnaughtondesigns.com), that she has reproduced as giclees. Steve's images range from shots of local landscapes, which are familiar to many of us such as Walden Pond to selected patterns of the Parthenon in Rome that he has richly rendered in black and white and sepia tones.  Sarah McNaughton evocatively  portrays the strength of her goddess figure in "Healing the Waters,"  that was done in response to the oil disaster in the Gulf. It is a prayer for the physical healing of the waters of the earth as well as the feminine/water aspect of humanity. The show is free and open to the public.
