Local artist Anne Gifford included in Denver International Airport art exhibition "See the West Like a Local"

The 2007 Bolder Boulder 10K Race poster by Boulder artist Anne Gifford was selected for inclusion in the Denver International Airport's juried exhibition "Colorado: See the New West Like a Local". Colorado citizens with diverse viewpoints and backgrounds submitted more than 300 original poems and quotes expressing their visions of Colorado. Artists around the state interpreted the best of these submissions in many different media. Now on display are 78 selected artworks and quotes from those who know Colorado the best: the locals. Gifford is a six time Bolder Boulder poster artist recognized widely for her watercolors and serigraphs. and "Colorado: See the West Like a Local" can be seen from April 2008 - January 2009 at DIA on the walkway to A Gates before the security screening arean and is accessible for everyon'e enjoyment.
