Broomfield Blitz Youth Football Joins Coal Creek Midget Football, To play in New Northern League

The five year old, Broomfield Blitz, a non profit, youth football club has joined the Coal Creek Midget Football League. The Coal Creek Midget Football League includes teams from the communities of Brighton, Carbon Valley, Commerce City, Erie, Lafayette, Louisiville, and Superior. In addition, the Blitz as part of the CCMFL has agreed to play games in 2008 against teams from Hyland Hills, Northglenn and North Metro in the newly formed Northern League. The Northern League will have two divisions of play, an AFC and NFC. These two divisions of play will allow the Blitz to better match players by their skill level and experience in competition against other teams of similar skill and experience. These developments are a big step forward for youth football in the Northern Denver Metro Area, and it is a great time to be part of Broomfield Blitz Football. If your son wants to play high school football at one of area Broomfield high schools and beyond, Broomfield football starts here at Broomfield Blitz.Registration for Broomfield Blitz is now open through September 1, 2008.
