Annual Teacher Appreciation Night Honors Ten Local Educators

Ten outstanding local educators were honored by their nominating high school seniors at a ceremony on April 29, 2008.

The event began with the presentation of the colors by Boy Scout Troop #124 and Sergeant Louis Dixon III of the Adams County Sheriff’s Department delivered an impressive rendition of the National Anthem.

Mayor McNally stressed the important role of educators and the impact they have on the rising generation. President Hickman emphasized the importance of a good education. Also in attendance were George DiCiero, Broomfield City and County Manager and Linda Reynolds, Broomfield City Council member representing Ward 5.
