Mac’s Place

Mac’s Place, 1640 Pace St., Unit 400, Longmont, hosted its first-ever Bike To Work breakfast station on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. The National Bike to Work Day is in May, but with Colorado's temperamental weather patterns, the state chooses the third week in June to invite commuters to pedal to work. The owners, Keith and Teresa MacPhail, hosted the breakfast station and were surprised with the number of riders as well as the distance some of them were traveling, with one woman going all the way to Louisville on her two wheels.

“Anything we can do to promote a healthier lifestyle and bring the community together is worth the extra effort of opening up earlier,” according to Teresa. “We are a neighborhood diner, and as such want to support all our customers, on bikes and in their cars.”
