Mount Evans Room
• A rare opportunity to learn and see what really took place in Viet Nam, what our soldiers and airmen experienced, what the Hmong experienced and felt about our presence.
• Many slides to view.
• What did the military fighting, patrolling and working surveillance experience?
• How much did the US citizens really know about life in Viet Nam, the politics and the ramifications.
• What happened while pulling our troops out of Viet Nam?
• Why did the US pull out?
• What were the US goals? What were the goals of the soldiers and airmen?
• Where these goals achieve?
• What footprint did the US presence leave?
Take a special break and and revisit this period which caused confusion, turmoil and unfortunate mixed allegiance.
