Free Child Safety Seminar with Pattie Fitzgerald

Pattie Fitzgerald, founder of Safely Ever After and a nationally sought after speaker on child predator safety awareness has agreed to conduct a FREE seminar for the Boulder community. 

Topics to be discussed:

• The myth of stranger-danger — why it doesn't work with children
• Empowering kids with child-friendly language and concepts that make sense to them
• Exit strategies to teach our children when they feel scared or unsafe
• Tricky people — the facts/myths/and what makes a child more or less vulnerable
• Protecting children from people they: "know, don't know, and know a little bit!"
• Common lures & grooming tricks a predator uses (a.k.a. "beating 'em at their own game")
• The Super-10 Play It Safe Rules every family should know
• Prevention strategies and common sense tips for pro-active parents
• Megan's Law — what it can and can't do to protect our kids
