Girl Scout Troop 441 helped to collect toys for the Share A Gift Program that is currely running in Boulder Valley. On Thursday the 11th, the troop headed over to the headquarters of the Share a Gift program and in 1 hour managed to thuroughly clean shine and dry 84 bikes. The girls were all thrilled to be able to help with such a good cause. And bikes were familiar to many of them as they had participated in a Bike maintenance class a year or 2 ago through the Girls in Sports Day at CU. The troop has been together since they were in Kindergarten and are now in 4th grade. They really enjoy community service projects and were thrilled to "help make some little girl or boy have a wonderful Christmas, or Channuka, or holiday" this is a quote that I heard around the Bicycle washing room.

Share a Gift will be collecting toys, both new and gently used up until the 17 of December. You can find easy drop off locations around town or by going to www.shareagift.org . The toys go to families that need help making this holdiay special for their children. Thank you for your help
