Kitchens are Cooking: A Benefit for the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Boulder County is happening in Boulder this Saturday, April 28th from 10-4 and Sunday, April 29th from 12-4. The fundraiser, presented by Studio3 Kitchen Bath Interiors, showcases kitchens by top Boulder County architects, interior designers, and home-builders, as well as demonstrations by members of the renowned food community and the gracious hospitality of home owners who have opened their doors to welcome the community and raise visibility for the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Boulder County.
Each home has a theme specific to the design of the home. The home featured above is designed by Studio3 and features white painted traditional cabinetry that cleverly conceals the laundry. The theme is 'Small but Awesome', and it will inspire you to see how you can multitask in a small space. Other themes include 'Family Zone', 'The WOW Factor', and 'Garden to Gourmet Kitchen' and have kitchen features and designs to match.
Featured in the tour are demonstrators from a variety of culinary hotspots such as the Savory Spice Shop, the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Every Day Good Eating, and more. Each demonstrator will provide samples of their gourmet creations, as well as share their knowledge and love of cooking. Demonstrations include Homemade Potato Chips, Healthy Fruit Smoothies, Summer Salads, and more.
