LDS host annual teacher appreciation

Longmont Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

For the past decade, the Longmont Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has held a Teacher Appreciation event every spring. This year's event was held Friday, March 6 at the Longmont LDS Stake Center, 1721 Red Cloud Rd., Longmont. Nearly 40 graduating LDS seniors each nominated a teacher who has had a significant impact on her or her educational experience; this ranged from elementary through high school teachers, principals, coaches, and teachers throughout the academic disciplines in the St. Vrain Valley School District. At the event, seniors presented their honored teachers with a certificate of appreciation, along with an explanation of that teacher's impact and words of gratitude for their dedication to teaching.
