SUPERIOR, Colo. – April 29, 2009 - Members of Superior Elementary School 2nd Grade Brownie Troop 3324 recently donated $150 in baby food for training at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, a nonprofit organization protecting and enhancing the lives of companion animals and promoting healthy relationships between pets and people.The troop delivered the donation to the Humane Society on April 3 and heard a presentation about wildlife and domestic animal behavior by Wendy Dray, Humane Education Coordinator.The donation came from Troop 3324’s cookie sale proceeds and provided an opportunity for the girls to fulfill a part of Girl Scouts mission of making the world a better place.Troop members include Maya Vought, Karen Zhang, Marissa Timmons, Elise Parkes, Kayla Schneider, Bridget Duncan, Delaney Hartmann, Abbey Parkes, Peyton Cullaton, Kinsley Batson.
