WOW! Children's Museum Awarded Donation from Plexus

Lafayette, Colorado - WOW! Children’s Museum (World of Wonder) is pleased to announce that the Museum has received a $5,000 donation from Plexus in Boulder.  This donation will be used to support a remodel of the Museum’s Sandbox Exhibit and a new beach-themed playscape geared for toddlers.  Opening on December 18^th, the remodeled Sandbox will encourage young children to explore the properties of sand with new funnels, ramps, sieves and more.  The new toddler playscape is scheduled to open in the Summer 2013.    

“In the redesigned Sandbox, children will enjoy exploring the properties of sand with funnels, sieves, and other objects.  Parents will appreciate improved lighting and more visibility into the sand box to watch their children play.  Our beach-themed Toddler Area will provide our young visitors their very own place to play.  They can walk across the dock and slide down the wave, explore different textures, or see what happens when they flip a switch,” said Elizabeth Knight, Exhibits Director, WOW! Children’s Museum.
