Lafayette, Colorado – WOW! Children’s Museum (World of Wonder) today announced that the Museum has launched its first ever crowdfunding campaign in support of the upcoming Make It Go! exhibit.  Make It Go! is an exciting new STEM focused exhibit that explores the physics and motion of traveling in a car, riding a bike, and seeing a hot air balloon.  This new exhibit will help children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and physical skills.  Make It Go! is scheduled to open at WOW! in September 2017.

Funds raised through WOW!’s crowdfunding campaign will help purchase two components of Make It Go!:

  • “Drive It” – children can push, twist, and turn buttons and wheels while exploring the dashboard of a car.
  • “Design a Car” – children are able to choose different pieces of a car and create their very own custom designed vehicle.

“We are excited to announce the launch of our very first crowdfunding campaign!  This campaign will help us reach our goal of providing a new high-quality exhibit in the Museum.  We hope that the crowdfunding campaign will get our visitors and community excited about Make it Go! and inspire them to support our new exhibit,” said Jennifer Hinderliter, Executive Director, WOW! Children’s Museum.

The Museum’s fundraising goal for the Make It Go! crowdfunding campaign is $2,000.  Donations can be made directly to WOW!’s Go Fund Me page -  https://www.gofundme.com/WOWMakeitGo
