Current and former Monarch High School students attend the 44th Presidential Inauguration

Current and former Monarch High School students Sarah Jane Seifert, Rebekah Hickernell, Kelsey Presisator, and Megan Kiser are gearing up to attend the 44th Presidential Inauguration. They were invited as alumni of the National Youth Leadership Forum and Congressional Youth Leadership Council. They will be attending the official swearing in ceremony and inaugural parade, as well as several conferences, debates, educational activities, and a black-tie inaugural ball. Scheduled keynote speakers include General Colin Powel and former Vice President Al Gore.

Sarah Jane Seifert is a senior at Monarch and is serving as Head Girl of the Student Body for the 2008-2009 school year. Rebekah Hickernell is a 2008 graduate of Monarch and was the Head Girl of the student body during the 2007-2008 school year. She is currently a freshman at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Kelsey Presisator is a senior at Monarch High and is currently a representative on student council. Megan Kiser is a junior at the University of Kansas and is a teaching assistant in the Human Anatomy Lab.
