Quality of life in Gunbarrel: found a child's stuffed animal under a bush. Though it odd as our children are grown and there are none next door. Upon closer inspection, noticed that it was missing an eye, the nape of its neck had been torn open and it was ripped around the mouth. Given that we have had a regular owl visitor (actually two: Simonetta and Lolita) for the past three years, I figured that it was an owl toy. I placed it on one of the benches on the deck. Three days later, in late afternoon, I see Simonetta on the balcony, sitting on her toy. After some minutes she flew off with her toy firmly in her talons. See next pic - Return of the toy.
