Arapahoe Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution

17ft. Sequoia planted in Catalpa Park!

Arapahoe Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution planted a 17ft. Sequoia in Catalpa Park at 19th and Kalmia. The tree is incredibly beautiful. Boulder Forestry also planted three additional Sequoias at the park.

Children of the American Revolution (CAR) Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets.

The William Smith Livingston Society of the Children of the American Revolution's (CAR) recent meeting highlighted learning about the Apollo 11 Mission and celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets. Finally, after their rockets were built they had to brave the snow and wind to launch them. It was quite a site to see to the “rockets red glare” against the night sky!

Children of the American Revolution (CAR), Scouts Spread Good Cheer

Members of the William Smith Livingston CAR (Children of the American Revolution) Society teamed up with local Scouts to collect items for military care packages. CAR members Jack Carlson, 7 and Reed Coker, 10 joined with fellow Cub Scouts who agreed to contribute to the service project. During their annual popcorn sale they asked for donations to send popcorn to active duty military soldiers. Louisville’s Tri-City Elks Cub Scout Pack 80 donated $655 from popcorn and trail mix sales and the cub… Continue
