Yard Work Volunteers Needed!

Boulder County CareConnect is very happy to announce our newest Safety Net Service - YardBusters! YardBusters matches volunteers who love to work outdoors with seniors who need help maintaining their yard. Volunteer tasks include: occasional lawn mowing, garden preparation, raking and removing weeds and fall safety hazards such as small tree limbs and branches. Volunteer hours are flexible so this is a great opportunity to volunteer on evenings and weekends!

A recent county-wide study found that helping older adults stay in their homes requires assistance with maintaining the outside of their home as well as the inside. Boulder County Aging Services is funding YardBusters, and in order to grow the program we need more volunteers! Since the service will be provided by volunteers, there is no charge to clients.
