Definitely Gregory!  I exposed first for the overall and then the sky and then shadows - about a 5 shot HDR on a tripod of course.

I have been using Photomatix and tried the NEf HDR - which had some advantages

Usig a program called "HDR Expose" and an ancient MGI PhotoSuite 4.  I heard Photomatix is pretty good.
