Information

Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County

Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County, a chapter of Zonta International, has been working to improve the lives of women and girls in our local community and internationally since 1982. Our all-volunteer resources focus on service,  advocacy  and fundraising.

Our members volunteer with local groups who share our mission and work hard on our on primary  service project Zonta EducateZ.

Zonta EducateZ

This Zonta Foothills created and managed program supports women's and girls’ education to empower and improve lives. We believe that our future depends on the education and mentoring so we sponsor the Boulder PantherZ Z Club at Boulder High School and the BVSD Teen Parenting Program to:

  • encourage community service,
  • develop leadership skills,
  • improve high school graduation rates and college  enrollment,
  • insure health and wellness,
  • provide mentors.

Advocacy is a critical part of our work. While remaining nonpartisan, Zonta Foothills  Club:

  • advocates for laws and legislation,
  • supports local organizations that defend and protect women,
  • promotes  attitudes to improve the status of women.

By accepting this role, each of our members is a voice for women and children locally and around the world.  It’s a goal we work toward together.
