New Boulder County resident, Ken Graham, provides a solution to dog poop pollution.

Plastic bags filled with dog poop litter local trails and parks. Why? No one wants to carry a stinking bag of poop, including Ken.

Before moving to Colorado, Ken researched the local dog laws and realized he would have to carry an odorous bag of poop for miles while walking his dog, nasty! Instead of soaking into the beauty of Colorado, he would be soaking in the smell of dog poop ..no thanks.

His solution- use an insulated lunch bag to reduce the smell and contact with feces. Sadly his family golden retriever, Chelsea, died from cancer shortly before the move. That did not change his feeling of pet responsibility. As an avid hiker Ken has been disgusted with the large amount of dog poop he regularly sees and hopes to change the situation. Ken has personally commissioned the fabrication of 1,500 small purse like contact and odor reducing insulated bags to help make the responsibility of cleaning up pet waste a more pleasant task. The bags are available for free at participating local pet vendors. Ken Graham’s profession is portrait photography. He will donate 100% of any pet photo session fee’s toward the cost of producing the initial bags and the next thousand. Individual donations toward production costs are welcome. Businesses can support the cause and have their name and logo imprinted on transport bags. For a list of participating pet vendors where you can get your free transport bag please visit kengraham.com , click on pet vendors
