Local Men's Charity takes a stand to help stop Domestic Violence

100 Guys Who Give is a group of inspired men who are committed to making a difference in their local community.  The Mission is to reach out and help the local communities through the amazing charities doing important work in Boulder County. Collectively, the group can make a powerful impact on the community with the combined individual donations.

Founder Justin Livingston says, "The idea behind Guys Who Give is to keep it simple, make it easy, make it fun, and stay local to have an impact that WE can SEE in our communities!"  The group has events once a quarter where members can nominate local charities.  They then draw three from the nominations and learn about each one.  After the three-five minute presentations, the group votes on the winning charity and every member writes a $100 check to that charity directly.  The group's goal is to reach 100+ members so that they can flood the local charity community with over $40,000 a year to help them do the work they focus on within their organization.  In their first year, the group is already recruited almost half of that goal!

We are a new organization based out of Louisville, CO but drawing members from all over.  Members come from all generations, economic situations, and backgrounds but we're all tied together by wanting to make a positive impact on our local community.

Our first recipient was Attention Homes in Q2, then EFAA in Q3, and most recently our Q4 recipient was SPAN (Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Non-violence).  "The organizations so far have been amazing and super deserving; they do incredible work to serve our community." Livingston says.  "Our last recipient, SPAN has some special meaning as I think it's awesome for a men's group to make a statement like this in taking a stand and supporting an organization who helps folks experiencing domestic violence; it made me really proud."
