The Broomfield County Republican Central Committee will hold its Lincoln Day Dinner celebration Thursday, April 23, 2009.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Chateaux at Fox Meadows
13600 Xavier Lane in Broomfield.
Former United States Congressman Bob Beauprez will be Master of Ceremonies.
“The Lincoln Day Dinner is significant for several reasons,” noted committee 1st Vice Chair – Operations Rick Morgan. “It’s an annual celebration for most Republican county central committees in Colorado. For Broomfield County, it’s our major fund raiser for the year and a chance to shine for several hundred Broomfield County Republicans and guests who are re-committing themselves to work hard for what they believe.” Morgan explained that this year’s event will provide a launch point for much of the work planned by the committee’s new leadership team for the coming year.
Besides Beauprez, featured speakers will include KHOW Talk Radio Host, Dan Caplis and Aurora (CO) City Councilman, Ryan Frazier.
The Lincoln Day Dinner is named for Abraham Lincoln, father of the modern Republican Party. It allows each county central committee to localize its activities and celebration while symbolically joining forces with other committees throughout the state to refocus on Republican Party values and their significance to Colorado voters.
