Hello, I love to write. In the morning as soon as I wake up, before I do anything, I journal for three complete pages stream of consciousness. It is my way of clearing the way for my creative self to emerge. I am setting up Journaling workshops at the Rec Centers. I am also working on a fiction based on a memoir that I wrote but haven't published...yet. I write poetry and short stories and I want to write a screen play. Recently, I entered an 2000 word essay. Writing is at my heart and soul. I also write and speak for a living. Anyone out there who wants to talk Writing?

I didn't know "journal" was a verb. Interesting.

What do you want to write a screenplay about?

PS Yes, I'd like to talk about writing.
Hello Brian, Great to hear from you. Screenplays, well I haven't studied how to write one but have that on my to-do list. I have written a couple of manuscripts, one of which I am currently dusting off to fix some flaws with point of view, as well as some other issues. I have started and stopped on two or three works over the past year. I think that basically I am trying to find out where I fit as a writer. As I said, I journal every day, and that is extensively meaningful to me. I want to hold journal workshops but I am currently working on completing a master's in communication and cannot commit. I have written fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, poetry, and I have worked as a communications professional writing speeches, legal and legislative communications , marketing and PR communications (www.communications-bensky.com). I have also written many academic papers. Point is, I haven't found my niche so that is why I have thought about screen plays but it is a genre that I haven't explored. Lately, I've been considering whether I should write stories for people who have a story to tell but cannot write and I have considered photo journalism. What persusion of art do you express? Cathleen
