Dangerous crossing for Children

On 13th street between Arapahoe and Canyon the Boulder bike path crosses the road. It is not clearly marked for the passing cars which makes it very dangerous for pedestrians. Last summer my younger brother was hit by a car right there. This street is right next to the park where children play and I feel strongly that there should be a clearly defined crosswalk there. Apparently the city disagrees, or they don't want to spend the money or time or man-power. That's fine. But something needed to be done so I took matters into my own hands with a bit of sidewalk chalk.
