Mister Shakespeare, just who are you?
When did you live?  What did you do?
Where were you born?  Was it afar?
The world says you wrote quite alot
Some plays and things, most with a plot
Your birth was fifteen sixty four
That's not enough, please tell me more
The place of birth, Stratford we hear
By the River Avon so near
Then you lived till sixteen sixteen
A lot of living in between
The world says that as a Bard
No other one with you has parred
In the world of literature
No other works so good and pure
Now we must conclude that we know best
Not more disturb you let you rest
We thank you for your plays and things
We hope you ride on angels' wings
