 er, CO - TRU Community Care, founded as Boulder County Hospice in 1976
 , is celebrating ten successful years of TRU Hospice Thrift Shop in Bo
 ulder. Located at 5665 Arapahoe Avenue, TRU Hospice Thrift Shop serves
  hundreds of shoppers, donors, and volunteers every week. Manager of m
 ore than nine years, Lynn McCullough, who has a background in retail s
 hares, “We love explaining to people who donate and volunteer how im
 portant their contributions are to our hospice patients and families.
 \nThe proceeds of the Thrift Shop support services provided by TRU C
 ommunity Care a nonprofit hospice and palliative care organization ser
 ving Boulder, Broomfield, Adams, Jefferson and parts of Weld Counties.
  Thanks to the mountains of donations from caring community members, m
 ore than $350,000 annually is funneled to the hospice, palliative care
 , grief services, community education, and the 10-bed inpatient unit i
 n Louisville from the thrift shop.\n“For almost forty years, Boulder
  County has embraced the hospice movement as vital to adding quality o
 f life for our families and neighbors. The community also has embraced
  our TRU Hospice Thrift Shop. It’s as an important way to support ou
 r hospice work, helping the environment with recycling goods, and upho
 lding the spirit of volunteering that is so alive and well with this e
 ffort,” says Darla Schueth, President and CEO of TRU Community  Car
 e. \nTRU Hospice Thrift Shop receives donations of furniture, clothin
 g, household goods, books, luggage, collectibles and other items daily
  from 10 am to 5:30 pm at their east Boulder location.  Volunteer Mar
 y Althauser adds, “I am so fortunate to work alongside a group of ta
 lented, dedicated, and fun loving staff and fellow volunteers. I feel 
 a great sense of satisfaction at the end of a shift. Sometimes the wor
 k is hard and a bit overwhelming, but because of our generous donors w
 e laughing say, “We will never be out of a job.”\nTRU Hospice Thri
 ft Shop currently is hiring for Thrift Shop Assistants and a Driver po
