SUMMARY:Adam’s Camp Reunion at the Ranch
DESCRIPTION:This fun-filled afternoon is to honor and support children
  and young adults with special needs and their families\n\nAdam’s Ca
 mp is a local nonprofit dedicated to realizing potential and developin
 g the strengths of children and young adults by bringing together fami
 lies with professionals and volunteers to collaboratively provide cust
 omized, intensive therapy, family support, and recreation in a camp en
 vironment. This 37-year-old organization invites Denver community memb
 ers to join them at this family-centered Event, “Reunion at the Ranc
 h.”   This event will take place on October 9th from 12-3pm at Pro
 mise Ranch Therapies and Recreation in Castle Rock, Colorado.\n\nTicke
 ts purchased in advance through www.adamscampcolorado.org are just $5 
 per person and up to $20 per family of four or more. Tickets will be $
 7 per person and up to $25 per family at the door.\n\nThis fun fall ev
 ent is for campers, their families, and any newcomers interested in le
 arning more and getting involved. Camp is such a transformative time f
 or all, and we are excited to host an event that gives our community a
  chance to reconnect after their summertime experiences and welcome ne
 w faces! We look forward to sharing in whole family fun including phot
 os with therapy horses (it’s their day off!), a newly opened sensory
  trail, goats, carnival games, prizes, crafts, live music, and food tr
 ucks.\nProceeds will be used to help offset the cost for those in fina
 ncial need to attend Adam's Camp in the form of scholarships. This is 
 an event for counselors, therapists, volunteers, staff, community supp

 pport and grow the strengths of Adam. Along with his physical therapis
 t, Adam’s parents, Bill and Karel Horney, developed a program to rea
 lize potential and develop the strengths of the young people they work
 ed with. The program offers coordinated therapies for children with sp
 ecial needs in order to achieve developmental milestones while celebra
 ting successes in adventurous and engaging settings.\n \nSince its fo
