SUMMARY:Allenspark Hilltop Guild Annual Bazaar
DESCRIPTION:The Hilltop Guild’s annual Bazaar takes place Saturday, 
 Aug.1, inAllenspark. The event is free and parking is free.The Kelley 
 House, home of the Guild and the location of the festival, isfound at 
 18720 Highway 7, just 4 miles south of Allenspark. Flags mark thelocat
 ion just off the highway.The day will begin at 9 a.m. with an assortme
 nt of homemade andhandmade things for sale from jellies to woven rugs,
  from books toglassware and china, from baked goods to costume jewelry
 .More than 20 booths will offer jewelry, honey, coffee, haircuts, loav
 es ofbread, tarot readings, flavored syrups and leather goods.The ladi
 es of the Guild will offer a selection of baked goods and peanutbrittl
 e in the Country Kitchen while the White Elephant has a selection ofho
 usehold collectibles, china, glassware and kitchen items. The Boutique
 offers scrubbies, playing card holders, baby clothes, knitted hats and
 embroidered tea towels. More than 10 quilts – modern and vintage –
  alsowill be for sale on Aug. 1.The popular Loom Room has hand-woven i
 tems including shoelaces, smallrugs, woven bags, place mats, table run
 ners, dog leashes and exquisite“ruanas” or shawls.The popular cost
 ume jewelry table also will return this year and the BookNook is fille
 d with paperbacks and hardbacks.You won’t go hungry at the Bazaar as
  bratwurst lunches will be available aswell as vegan hot dogs.Live mus
 ic will take place all day until 2 p.m. featuring Three MooseMorning a
 nd Restless Spirit playing Celtic and Old Time Appalachianmusic.Earlie
 r this year, the Guild was able to provide eight scholarships tostuden
 ts in Lyons and Estes Park amounting to $13,000.As Guild members like 
 to say, the money raised at the Bazaar stays in thecommunity, helping 
 local students and charities.\nAnd the Bunce School and Museum, locate
 d only a short walk from theKelley House, also will be open on Aug. 1.
