SUMMARY:Children’s StoryTime Ballet - Creativity and growth for 3 &a
 mp; 4 year olds
DESCRIPTION:In this delightful summer adaptation of our Children’s B
 allet program, young students will explore the elements of a beloved s
 tory through movement.\nIn the first 45 minutes of class, the dancers 
 will experience a ballet class of the highest quality – learning cor
 rect ballet terminology and technique specifically designed to target 
 young, curious minds. Utilizing imagery and creative exploration, thes
 e young dancers will learn about musicality, space/time/energy, and pe
 rformative qualities.\nIn the last 15 minutes, teachers will break dow
 n the elements of a story. They will learn about the characters, the s
 etting, the plot, the conflict, and the resolution. From this explorat
 ion, the class will create a dance which will be performed for family 
 and friends at the conclusion of the 6-week session.\nStoryTime Ballet
  is a 6 week program and runs June 15 – July 25, 2020. All summer 20
 20 classes will be held either in-person at CCD or virtually through Z
