DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy the band in a program of music selections that 
 will ebb and flow with the theme of water. Each Spring the Denver Conc
 ert Band invites local high school band students to compete for our an
 nual Young Artist Award. The selected winner receives a scholarship, a
 nd will perform a solo piece with the band. Many past recipients have 
 gone on to successful careers in music, playing in elite orchestras th
