SUMMARY:Dining for Women Longmont - Inaugural Potluck
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a potluck in support of the newly forming Long
 mont chapter of the national nonprofit Dining for Women. Other chapter
 s exist along the Front Range and we think Longmont women would enjoy 
 Dining for Women, too!\n\nWe're a small group now, meeting monthly at 
 member homes to watch a short video and share ideas about a women's an
 d girls' rights project selected each month by the national DFW team. 
 We also try our hand at some of the recipes from the different areas i
 n the developing world in which Dining for Women is active. We're an i
 nformal group - no-stress potlucks and open discussion.\nAt the end of
  our evening, we make voluntary tax-deductible financial donations to 
 support the projects selected by DFW, which are all grassroots project
 s with a proven track record, vetted by the national team. Instead of 
 going out to lunch with a friend, we all enjoy knowing our donations s
 upport excellent international work to promote women's empowerment and
  social justice globally.\n \nPlease join us if you can. Bring a dish
  to share (or not) - bring a friend - bring our questions.  We look f
