  Sunday, October 19 with featured storytellers from Denver, Boulder, a
 nd Longmont. Â Dee Covington, a founding member of Denverâ€™s Curious 
 Theater Company and Henry Award winning actress will go up against acc
 laimed Boulder comedian Nancy Norton and Longmontâ€™s Eryc Eyl, known 
 to audiences as DJ SaviorBreath, in what has been called â€śthe Olympi
 ad of storytelling.â€ť Â \n\nIn addition to the pre-selected storytell
 ers, co-hosts Nina Rolle and Johanna Walker open up the competition to
  the audience, inviting all those who have prepared a five-minute, tru
 e life story to put their names in a hat with the hopes of being selec
 ted to tell it on stage. Â \n\nThe winner of each Truth Be Told story 
 slam is invited back to tell another story at the 2nd annual All-Star 
 Grand Slam, which, we are pleased to announce, will be held at eTown H
 all on Feb 22, 2015.\n\nBoulder performing artists Nina Rolle and Joha
 nna Walker Â co-produce and co-host this community arts series. Rolle 
 is a voiceover actor and musician known locally for her original, awar
 d-winning show, ZEN CABARET: a contemplative burlesque. Walker, a teac
 hing artist and public speaking coach, teaches the solo performance-ma
 king class, FEARLESS SOLOS: writing and performing your stories.\n\nBe
 tween stories, Rolle and Walker perform song medleys and one-line stor
 ies based on the eveningâ€™s theme, creating a one-of-a-kind event tha
 t is equal parts story hour, competition, and cabaret. Musical guests 
 this month are multi-instrumentalist Greg Laliberte of Ginga, bassist 
 Kevin Crouse, and Sharon Glassman, frequent Truth Be Told story contri
 butor, and author of the comic novel Blame it on Hoboken.\n\nThe theme
  for Octoberâ€™s slam event is â€śTeacher, Teacher!â€ť Â \nTRUTH BE TO
 LD: Boulderâ€™s Bi-Monthly Story Slam will be held on Sunday, October
