Compassion Calendars are Here for the Holidays

The much-anticipated Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary 2022 Calendar is now available for purchase. The calendar includes inspirational quotes, important Sanctuary events, and the residents’ rescue anniversaries, and features gorgeous photographs of the beloved animal residents of Luvin Arms by the talented up and coming photographer, Lauren Jackson.

Ms. Jackson is an avid animal lover. She has a niche for animal photography, perfectly capturing the unique individual personalities of her animal muses.

“One day I was heading out after taking resident photos for the calendar, and as I was walking past the goat enclosure, I saw (goat resident) Arya staring really intently through the fence out towards the small red barn over by the horses,” said Ms. Jackson about the calendar project. “I followed her eye line and quickly saw that she was staring at recent arrival, (cow resident) Lucky, waiting out his quarantine period at the separate barn. Seeing how intent and curious Arya was at the idea of a new friend arriving at the sanctuary was both adorable, and such a wonderful demonstration of how animals have a worldview much greater than we often attribute or recognize in them.”

The calendar can be ordered on the Luvin Arms’ website for $30 each, and mailed directly to recipients. Local supporters can also pick up their calendars at the Sanctuary now.

Luvin Arms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal sanctuary for abused or neglected farmed animals in Erie, Colorado.
