I have some volunteer cosmos growing in our front yard and watched as this butterfly, I believe it to be a Painted Lady but I'm not an expert, flitting from flower to flower on Wednesday 10/22/2025.

    I love how the ends of the antennae are in the shadow and so are very visible.
