The William Smith Livingston Society of the Children of the American Revolution's (CAR) recent meeting highlighted learning about the Apollo 11 Mission and celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets. Members of the William Smith Livingston CAR (Children of the American Revolution) Society teamed up with local Scouts to collect items for military care packages. CAR members Jack Carlson, 7 and Reed Coker, 10 joined with fellow Cub Scouts who agreed to contribute to the service project. During their annual popcorn sale they asked for donations to send popcorn to active duty military soldiers.
