Boulder Rotary’s Betty Fischer a Quiet Hero

BOULDER – Rotarian Betty Fischer was honored by the Boulder Rotary Club on January 30 with a Quiet Hero award. Quiet Heroes are those who quietly are of service to the club and its members.

Betty Fischer designed and produced special Rotary greeting cards of remembrance and help that are available free to members at every meeting. She sends the cards, often signed by dozens of club members, to anyone who is ill, has lost a loved one or just needs a word of encouragement.

“For all you do for others, thank you, Betty, quiet hero,” said Rotary President Peter Ewing as he presented the award.
