Through hands-on STEM focused activities, girls and their parents will have the opportunity to learn about different scientific fields as well as engage with local female scientists and professionals.

“WOW! is lucky to be part of a community with so many world-class science organizations, and with so many women serving as real-life science role models.  All children are natural scientists, observing, questioning and experimenting as they play. And yet a gender gap in science and math emerges as children get older,” said Joanna Cagan, Executive Director, WOW! Children’s Museum. “At WOW! we offer daily experiences to encourage STEM skills and confidence in all our visitors, and we host events such as Girls in Science Night to celebrate and empower the scientist in all of us.”

Admission to this special event is just $1 per person thanks to our event sponsors and WOW!’s donor supported Play for All Initiative.  To purchase tickets visit: https://wowchildrensmuseum.org/programs-events/upcoming-events/

Girls in Science Night has been made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor, STROBE and supporting sponsors Namaste Foundation and Xcel Energy.
