Lafayette, Colorado – WOW! Children’s Museum (World of Wonder) today announced that the Museum is launching a new series of education programs for children in grades K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th beginning the week of October 19.  In this 5-week series at WOW!, learning comes alive (and away from computer screens) with activities that encourage hands-on exploration and critical thinking skills – plus playtime in the Museum!  Each program is limited to 8 children with strict COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place.

“We’re delighted to be able to once again offer in-person education programs,” said Joanna Cagan, Executive Director, WOW! Children’s Museum. “In a difficult school year for so many families, it was important to us to be able to provide opportunities for children to learn and play together.”

Program Time: 10am-12pm

Join our expert teachers in this engaging and hands-on series of STREAM programs: Science, Technology, Relationships, Engineering, Art, and Math for children in grades K-1st. Each week, we will help your children to think and problem-solve like scientists, and enjoy exclusive playtime in the Museum too. Programs are designed to support Colorado Academic and Next Generation Science Standards.
