Join us for a potluck in support of the newly forming Longmont chapter of the national nonprofit Dining for Women. Other chapters exist along the Front Range and we think Longmont women would enjoy Dining for Women, too!
We're a small group now, meeting monthly at member homes to watch a short video and share ideas about a women's and girls' rights project selected each month by the national DFW team. We also try our hand at some of the recipes from the different areas in the developing world in which Dining for Women is active. We're an informal group - no-stress potlucks and open discussion.
At the end of our evening, we make voluntary tax-deductible financial donations to support the projects selected by DFW, which are all grassroots projects with a proven track record, vetted by the national team. Instead of going out to lunch with a friend, we all enjoy knowing our donations support excellent international work to promote women's empowerment and social justice globally.
Please join us if you can. Bring a dish to share (or not) - bring a friend - bring our questions. We look forward to meeting you!
