Congratulations to Matt Craft, Fairview High School 2004 graduate and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Graduate of CSU. As part of their Senior Design Project, his 7 person team recently showcased their hybrid race car (built from the ground up) on April 17th during the CSU annual Engineering Days celebration. With the help of sponsorship from otterbox.com, he and his team then towed the car on a cross country trek to New Hampshire for the Annual Formula Hybrid International competition on May 4, 5 and 6, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where they won the acceleration test and placed second overall out of 30 teams from 5 countries. They have since been invited to participate in a competition to be held in Italy in October of 2009. His fellow team members are: Alan Morine, Adam Havens, Joe Bixby, Mike Gordon, Kyle Butterfield, and Dave Richards.
