Event Description
Please join us for a rare screening of the beautiful, award-winning film Liyana to benefit the Akpe Cultural Center in Ghana. This genre-defying film follows five Swazi orphans as they use the transformative power of art to heal and redirect their own lives. Local African drumming and dance teacher Maputo Mensah is building the Akpe Cultural Center in Ghana to offer children in Ghana and students everywhere the same opportunity.
