Boulder Valley Spellbinders ®  Storytelling Training

Learn the art of oral storytelling through Boulder Valley Spellbinders ®  which is an affiliate of the   national non-profit Spellbinders ®  that promotes the establishment of intergenerational, volunteer storytelling though local chapters that serve their communities. 

Volunteer Training Workshop: To become a Spellbinders® storyteller, all volunteers attend a storytelling course spread over 4 half-days.  This course introduces participants to the fundamentals (and fun!) of oral storytelling.  The Boulder Valley Spellbinders ® next storytelling training is in January and will be held Saturday Jan 20, 2-5 pm, Sunday Jan 21, 2-5 pm, Tuesday Jan 23rd, 6-9 pm and Sunday Jan 28th 2 -5 pm at Brookdale North Boulder at 3350 30th St, Boulder, CO 80301. 

The BVS chapter provides volunteers with volunteer placement, ongoing support, resources for fables, folktales, myths and legends.  It also provides opportunities to further the storytelling craft and with monthly meetings where members share stories with new and longtime friends.
