Event Description

Friends School's Middle School Student Life team is hosting a Parent Education Meeting for all 5th-8th grade parents focusing on what kind of conversations we need to be having with our children around drugs and alcohol. Student Life Parent Ed meetings are a time to address topics that are relevant and meaningful to the social-emotional well-being of our students. Head of Middle School Ivan Johnson will be leading a discussion that will give parents a framework for having hard conversations at home about making healthy choices. Ivan has been an educator for over twenty years, with 12 of those years teaching drug education to adolescents and being an administrator creating school policies that help support students through making healthy choices. This event is open to the public - invite your friends. Space is limited so please RSVP here by April 17: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/612436111897
