Event Description

Human Trafficking and the Law - Christian Legal Society, Women’s Law Caucus, and Boulder Cru extend an invitation to join our "Human Trafficking and the Law" Event. The free public event will feature guest speakers Rosi Orozco, former Mexican Congresswoman and International Counter-Trafficking Advocate, and Noemi Muñoz, a Human Trafficking Survivor and current law student at Universidad del Valle de México. Ms. Orozco and Ms. Muñoz will describe their personal encounters with the human trafficking industry, and share how they are working to transform laws in Mexico, and abroad, to prevent trafficking and obtain justice for survivors. After the main speaking portion, and a brief Q&A, guest speakers will mingle with attendees in Boettcher Hall.
