Imagine a Better World Productions Platinum award winning recording artist Lon Van Eaton has come to Longmont to explore talented musicians, songwriters, actors, dancers and performers for musical and theatre production. Lon has the singular distinction of being produced by George Harrison on the Beatle’s Apple label at Abbey Road Studios, London. Anyone who has worked with Lon meets an exuberant creative force of nature. Creative, focused, high integrity professional with a proven track record of 30 years in the music business. He will be holding auditions and “casting calls” to find characters for the new Musical Theatre Production, “Story of an Angel.” The new LIVIES™ technology, seamlessly joins pre-recorded film with live theatre performances.

What's it like to have recorded, lived with and "hung out" with George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr? “Being signed to the Beatles’ Apple label was unbelievable. When I first met George it was the day before the Concert for Bangladesh. He joked about nicking one of my melodies. I was honored. The following day George took me to the Concert for Bangladesh, a concert to help feed the starving people in Bangladesh. This inspired me to follow in his footsteps. "We'll decide together what to write, record, produce, mix and master." Lon continues. "I am always pleased by the level of talent that arrives. Some are way better than I was when I got my lucky break. "We're always looking for artists, songs and non profits to work with for our productions.” Working one on one with a musician/songwriter or a band is my favorite experience.
