Veterans Museum to sponsor free WWII Symposium at Broomfield Auditorium on July 16

Congressman Joseph D. Neguse, representing Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District, and Broomfield Mayor Guyleen Castriotta will headline the Colorado Front Range WWII Symposium on Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Broomfield Auditorium, 3 Community Park Road.

The symposium, sponsored by the Veterans Museum Broomfield and organized by Fred Martin, will feature re-enactors, veterans, 1940s cars and military vehicles, and exhibit tables. And presentations by locals authors and historians Adam Makos, Flint Whitlock, and David Barrett; plus first-person impressions of Mamie Eisenhower and Rosie the Riveter by Colleen Sawyer and Gail Beaton, respectively.

The event is free and open to the public.
