BOULDER – Boulder area Rotary clubs have awarded scholarships to fifteen area high school students, to be used as they begin their college careers. Nine of the students were honored by the Boulder Rotary Club, and three each by Boulder Valley Rotary and Coal Creek Rotary, according to Lenna Kottke, scholarship chair.
Boulder Rotary scholarship winners: Drew Dondelinger, Centaurus; Tara Page, Sandra Aleman, Ana Escobar, all from Boulder High; Matthew Bull, Chelsea Jewell, Logan Howe, all from Nederland High; Sarah Seifert, Lamya’a Dawud, Monarch. Jewell, Howe and Dawud are recipients of the Bill Fullmer Memorial Scholarships, established by Rotarian Carol Ann Wilson Fullmer in memory of her late husband.
Boulder Valley Rotary scholarship winners: Alice Shen, Fairview; Alexander Carr, Centaurus; Joshua Hickernell, Monarch.
Coal Creek Rotary scholarship winners: Nha-Phuc Tran, Peak to Peak; Chelsea Welch, Monarch; Thomas Schmidt-Arenales, Centaurus.
