Golden West named Emily Whitsett-Pickett its new operations manager for the Mezzanine, assisted living apartments, and Jill Moore as the resident programs manager for the overall campus.
Pickett is responsible overseeing the staffing and all aspects of the assisted living community. She has been a member of the Golden West team for two years, holding various positions related to Assisted Living and Resident Services. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of Wooster (Wooster, Ohio) with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Music. Prior to joining Golden West, she worked in different residential, community service and educational settings. Emily is passionate about finding creative solutions to meet the changing needs of seniors and strives to improve the quality of life for the residents of Golden West.
Moore is responsible for overseeing the wellness and recreational programming for the Towers, independent apartments, Flatirons Terrace, new independent apartments, and the Mezzanine, assisted living. Jill has been in senior recreation since 1989 and has degrees in Human Rehabilitative Service and Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Gerontology. She is excited about the opportunity to enrich the lives of those who choose to participate in programs.
