Lotus Center Homecoming Tailgate Party

The new LOTUS CENTER is hosting a pre-game Homecoming Tailgate/Barbecue Party Saturday October 4th for the CU vs. Texas football game at 900 28th Street (NE corner of Aurora and 28th Frontage Road at Kitteredge Underpass) from 2:30 - 4:45. This grand opening of the new Lotus Center - where you can find the Sunrise Market and the Coffee Sanctuary (and Rat Shack's Wood BBQ coming soon) - will be celebrated with free food and live music and features a one hour appearance by the CU EXPRESS starting 3:15! Parking for the game is $20. Barbecue features burgers (and veggie), hot dogs and sides and will be catered by Savory Cuisines.
At 2:45 the Steve Altermatt Band will perform original and cover tunes in rock, southern rock, new country and R & B style to get the home town folks pumped before the big game. Steve Altermatt, a long time Boulder resident, is garnering a lot of attention nationally as a singer/songwriter with the release of his debut CD. He has recently played the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and been selected to present his original songs at the prestigious “Play for the Publishers” workshop in Nashville. Steve and his band were also recently recorded live in KBCO radio's legendary Studio C.Join us for the fun, food, music and entertainment!
