Girl Scout Earns Gold Award

Emily Prosch, a junior at Boulder High, has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award for her project "Youth Room Revived." Emily solicited input and help from community youth and adults to renovate the youth room at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Gunbarrel. After 175 hours of planning and labor, the room has been transformed into a modern, comfortable place for community youth to meet for activities. The room features a state-of-the-art theater entertainment system, pool table and small kitchen. Local businesses and community members donated money and furnishings. Emily greatly appreciates the community support to help her earn the award.
